The 3rd Lushan International Romance Film Week Kicks off

On the evening of August 20th, the "Theme Festival" of the 3rd Lushan International Romance Film Week kicked off at Lushan International Convention Center.

At the scene, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon gave a video speech; Zhuang Zhaolin, member of the Standing Committee of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Department of Publicity of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, and Yang Wenbin, Mayor and Deputy Secretary of Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee delivered speeches respectively. Li Xiaoping, member of the Standing Committee of Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Lushan Administration and Secretary of Lushan Municipal Party Committee, awarded image ambassador appointment letters of the third Lushan International Romance Film Week to Sun Honglei and Wang Jundi. And the film week also had guests from other countries, including Yoon Dae-won, a famous Korean film and television special effect director, which made the film week an "international" event.

Ten classic Chinese romance films, including Comrades, Almost a Love Story, A Chinese Odyssey, Romance on Lushan Mountain, An Autumn's Tale, Chungking Express, The Peach Blossom Land, The Road Home, and A Little Red Flower, were recommended, which tell Chinese stories and express the sincerest feeling of humankind.

The "Theme Festival" is not only just a film feast, but an event with splendid cultural performances, including the Homesick, interlude of Romance on Lushan Mountain, performed by Beijing Deep Space Choir, Peach Blossom in Dalin Temple sung by the young artist Li Yugang, the theme song of the film La La Land by German musician Gina Alice, and the song Have You Have World by Chang Shilei, Hu Chunyang, and Wang Yiren.

It is reported that this year's film week lasts for seven days, from August 16 to 22, and it carries out six themed activities, namely a romance and love film exhibition, recommendation of classic love films, love pop-up and the launching ceremony of the film week, Lushan International Romance Film Summit Forum, "theme festival", and Love Lushan Film and Television Short Film Season.
