Argentina Pavilion, the Guest of Honor of the 10th Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo Officially Opens

On November 16, the opening ceremony of Argentina Pavilion was held as the guest of honor of the 10th China（Mianyang）Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo.

Argentine Ambassador to China Niu Wangdao said in his speech, "It is a great honor for me to open the Argentina Pavilion. The 15 Argentine companies that participated in the Expo represent Argentina's advanced achievements in the fields of electronic information, green energy, communications, aerospace industry, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. They hope to take this opportunity to strengthen and explore new cooperation and business opportunities and promote the cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and technology to a new level."

Yang Xingping, Vice governor of Sichuan Province, said in his speech, "This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Arab countries. Over the past 50 years, China and Argentina have always understood and supported each other, becoming good friends who trust each other and good partners for common development. This Expo is another major achievement of the exchanges between Sichuan and Argentina. We hope to take this event as an opportunity to raise the level of friendship-city cooperation and promote the sustainable development of the friendship-city relations between Mianyang, Mendoza and Quilmes city. We will strive to create a new situation in which different civilizations exchange and learn from each other, deepen cooperation in culture, sports and other fields, and draw on each other's strengths. The guest of honor of the Expo——The National Pavilion of Argentina, is located in Hall 1 of Mianyang Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an area of 500 square meters, highlighting Argentina's advantageous industries, cultural tourism and so on. The exhibition area also carried out cultural interaction, Argentine tango performance, VR football, wine tasting and other experience activities.
