Spring in Taizhou: a City of Rivers Offering Happiness

Recently, a list of top 15 tourism routes of water conservancy scenic spots in Jiangsu were released by the Department of Water Resources of Jiangsu Province, among which a route featuring local rivers and flower fields in Taizhou, a city in central Jiangsu Province, was included.

Scenic spots along the route include "Thousand-Islet Canola Flower Fields", Qin Lake Scenic Area in Jiangyan district, Qiuxue Lake and Fengcheng River. Tourists can feel the charm of Taizhou from various perspectives by visiting these attractions.

Of all the water conservancy scenic spots in Jiangsu Province, the "Thousand-Islet Canola Flower Fields" hits global fame for the distinctive landscape, which is recognized as an important agricultural heritage site and a four-star rural tourist spot of Jiangsu Province. Qin Lake Scenic Area in Jiangyan District includes the following two attractions: Qintong Ancient Town and Qin Lake National Wetland Park. Qiuxue Lake Ecological Scenic Area is crisscrossed by marshes and waters. Fengcheng River Scenic Area is surrounded by water, with Wanghai Pavilion situated at the center. On the other side of the river, there are Taoyuan Road and Laojie Street. The Yinjiang River scenic spot, relying on water conservation projects, offers visitors an insight into the science about water conservation.
