Chengdu Speeding Up the Main Venue Construction for 2024 International Horticultural Exhibition

The 2024 Chengdu International Horticultural Exhibition will be held on April 26, 2024. As the first place to propose the concept of "Park City," Chengdu will complete its first-ever partnership with the highest-level international flower and horticultural exhibition.

It is understood that the main venue of the 2024 Chengdu International Horticultural Exhibition is located in the Jiangxi River Ecological Green Corridor in Chengdu Eastern New Area, with a planned area of 3,633 mu. Four sub-venues, including the Xinjin Modern Agricultural Center, Wenjiang Sichuan Style Bonsai, Pixian Flower Industry, and the in Qionglai Biodiversity Protection, are also planned to be built simultaneously. While fully adhering to principles such as green and low-carbon, conservation and sustainability, sharing and inclusiveness, efforts are being made to create an event featuring "the characteristics of the times, international standards, Chinese elements, and Chengdu characteristics" for the horticultural exhibition.

The main venue of the Chengdu International Horticultural Exhibition includes six core buildings: the Comprehensive Service Pavilion, the Main Exhibition Pavilion (China Pavilion), the Scattered Flower Building, the Tianfu Habitat Pavilion, the Plant Pavilion (International Pavilion), and the Chengdu International Friendship Pavilion (New Pavilion). It is understood that the planting of tall trees in the park area has been basically completed. The three municipal roads, three parking lots, and nine supporting hotels for the park's external supporting projects are expected to be fully completed by the end of January 2024.
