China's innovative and highly promising market has a strong appeal, according to Olivier Pelletier, senior vice president of Munters AirTech Asia Pacific China. In his ten years living in China, Pelletier has immersed himself in areas such as sustainability, digitalization, and the Internet of Things. In doing so, he has come to appreciate the charm of China.

Pelletier came to China in 2012. Through his interactions with Chinese colleagues, he became a strong advocate for diversity. "The ability to put together different viewpoints, different experience, different cultures and ways of working, has proven to be a good way to innovate further," he said.

Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical processes. They leverage digitalization and IoT technologies to offer innovative solutions to China's industrial and agricultural sectors. Sustainability is an important part of Munters' business strategy and value creation. Pelletier shared the efforts that Munters has put into sustainable development in the realms of resources and production in the interview.

In early March, Munters' new manufacturing base broke ground in Jiangyin, Jiansu Province. According to Pelletier, the city's robust infrastructure, convenient access to goods supply and product transportation, well-established industrial ecosystem, high-quality workforce, and excellent business environment have provided a solid foundation for the development of the new facility. He said Munters will further enhance its production capabilities in China and accelerate innovation in the realm of sustainability.

In the future, Munters will continue to drive the sustainable development agenda, enhance energy efficiency, and offer more intelligent services through IoT technology, said Pelletier.
