[Daka China 2023] Foreign Internet Vloggers Explore Hefei, Amazed by Its Sci-tech and Cultural Charms

The "Daka China - Telling Anhui's Stories Well and Conveying Voices from Hefei" International Communication Event, hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Anhui Province and CRI Online of China Media Group, and organized by the Cyberspace Administration of Hefei Municipality and Anhui Branch of CRI Online, officially got underway on October 25.

Anhui Innovation Center is the first innovation-themed comprehensive venue in China. Since opening in April 2019, it has received more than 350,000 visitors from all walks of life. As Artem Uskov, a Russian vlogger said: "Here, I can gain insight into China's current development. I also find China's high-tech industries really amazing."

Duong Duc Tam, a Vietnamese vlogger had been to Anhui for the first time. She commented that: "The very first thing that comes to mind when hearing the name Anhui is Hefei, since it's a high-tech city with advanced technological offerings."

Anhui Museum of Historical Notables is now China's largest museum dedicated exclusively to historic figures.

Nguyen Trang Thi, another Vietnamese vlogger who had never been to Anhui, was especially fond of the sculpture titled "Cao Cao Spurring on His Horse". "I'm a loyal viewer of the TV series Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which has given these historical figures a certain notoriety in Vietnam," she said.

Hefei Garden Expo Park is located in Luogang Park, and is 2.4 times the area of New York City's Central Park, making it the largest urban park in the world.

Lee Barrett from the UK praised the gorgeous scenery of the park. "I have never heard of incorporating a civil airport runway in a park. The scenery is also really beautiful!"
