The International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu (hereinafter referred to the Exhibition") is being held in Chengdu. The Exhibition is organized with the concept of "Green, Low-carbon, Sustainable, Shared," bringing visitors a unique green feast.

Recently, foreign students from France, Pakistan, South Korea and other countries visited the main venue of the Exhibition to experience the green and low-carbon atmosphere.

At the venue of Exhibition, low-carbon and smart scenes can be seen everywhere, with "hibiscus petal" buildings that can collect rainwater and achieve green space irrigation in the park through filtration and storage. There is a "Xuan hu Shu yu" waterfall that can set three flow modes: during important activity periods, it is open to full flow; During the general exhibition period, the waterfall is divided into sections and flows to form a murmuring water landscape; At night or during regular hours, the flow is closed to showcase the natural ecological scenery of the cliff. There are also ubiquitous new energy transportation vehicles.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Ecological Environment, in recent years, Chengdu has deeply implemented the concept of green development, with the construction of park city demonstration areas that practice the new development concept as the overall plan, and the goal of “carbon peak and neutrality” targets as the guide, vigorously promoting the optimization and adjustment of the four major structures. The Exhibition has provided a new development mode and concept for Chengdu to fully implement the national decision-making and deployment on green development.
