In Fosi Town, Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, specialty industries, cultural tourism and facility agriculture are thriving. Behind this growth is the full support provided by employees of the Fosi Power Supply Station.

Members of the Mongolian ethnic group account for 85 percent of Fosi Town’s population, and many elderly residents do not speak Chinese. In response, the power supply station established the “Gerel” Service Team in 2009. It introduced Mongolian-language classes, hired local teachers to teach commonly used expressions, and arranged for Mongolian and Han team members to work together. Over the years, team members have progressed from being unable to understand Mongolian to communicating effectively in the language, significantly improving work efficiency.
Events featuring Mongolian culture are held mainly in August each year. Since 2015, the station has offered its “Three Hearts” service approach, emphasizing enthusiasm, dedication and thoughtfulness. It has adopted the standards of “no blind spots in work, no repeat repairs and no service complaints” and provided power supply support for more than 50 major events, including temple fairs and tourism festivals.

Power services are extended wherever industries develop. When Liu Baishu, a large-scale cattle farmer in Haisitai Village, urgently needed a three-phase power supply for an expanded cattle shed, he posted a message in a local WeChat group. Grid manager Liang Jiehao responded within seconds and visited the site to provide guidance. Within four days, the power supply was extended to the entrance of the cattle shed.
When Changjiang Farm added a new corncob deep-processing production line, the station’s dedicated “Power Service Manager” team proactively visited the site. The team worked overnight to draw up an upgrade plan and successfully completed the line upgrade. The station has built or upgraded 22.21 kilometers of 10-kV lines and 22.5 kilometers of 0.4-kV lines, and installed or upgraded 17 distribution transformers with a total capacity of 4,100 kVA.
Today, the Fosi Power Supply Station has divided its service area into four grids. Since grid-based services were introduced, the station has provided extended services to 341 livestock farmers on more than 400 occasions, resolved 110 electricity-use issues and responded to 33 electricity service requests.
