Recently, in Sucun Town of Lingbao City, Sanmenxia, Henan Province, service personnel from the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company traversed mountains and valleys to conduct a special inspection of the 10kV Sufu Line. They carried out a comprehensive investigation into potential issues such as soil loosening and foundation subsidence of poles and towers due to continuous rainfall, ensuring the safe and stable operation of power facilities during the flood season.

In recent times, areas such as Lingbao City have experienced continuous heavy rainfall. In response, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company quickly mobilized and enhanced the inspection frequency and hazard identification of transmission lines in mountainous low-lying areas and regions near rivers, such as the 35kV Qiangda Line and Zhusi Line. Timely reinforcement and protection measures were implemented for poles and towers located in areas prone to landslides and collapses. Personnel were organized to investigate potential hazards at 45 underground stations, box-type equipment, and other high-risk locations, promptly addressing three instances of flood-prone equipment. Efforts also included the preemptive clearing of drainage channels at substations, the installation of waterproof barriers and flood control sandbags, and the inspection of equipment seals and the sealing of apertures. Additionally, there was an increased focus on the inspection and maintenance of lightning protection devices, including arresters and grounding downleads.

The State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company, taking into full consideration the impacts of torrential rains, severe convective weather, and geological disasters, has meticulously deployed its resources. The Company is focusing on flood control efforts, refining emergency plans, and intensifying the inspection of regional lines and equipment to ensure the power grid's safety during the flood season and stability throughout the summer.
