'She Township by the West Lake' - Tonglu Eshan Ethnic Customs Tourism Promotion Conference Held in Hangzhou

On the afternoon of November 21, the "She Township by the West Lake" - Tonglu Eshan Ethnic Customs Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Hangzhou. Concurrently, the "She Township by the West Lake" cultural tourism promotion season series of activities were launched. Eshan She Ethnic Township, known as "China's First She Ethnic Township," extended a sincere invitation to visitors from all directions to explore its poetic charm and scenic beauty.

In recent years, Tonglu has leveraged its rich natural resources and profound cultural heritage to accelerate the development of the four major brands: "Tonglu Tourism," "Tonglu B&Bs," "Tonglu Flavors" and "Tonglu Equestrianism." Eshan Ethnic Customs Tourism, as a highlight and a symbol of Tonglu's cultural tourism, has been ready and highly anticipated.

At the promotion conference, performances such as the dance Sound of Castanets on the Road to Prosperity, the short film She Township by the West Lake, and the situation play She Township Innermost Words showcased the gratitude and support of the She people for the government-led "linking townships and villages" poverty alleviation initiative. These programs also inspired continued efforts toward achieving common prosperity in ethnic minority townships, encouraging people to create a better life with their own hands. Additionally, the event unveiled the new She Township Monascus Wine co-developed by Zhejiang Gu Yue Long Shan Shaoxing Wine Co., Ltd. and Eshan Township, along with the announcement of the 5th China (Zhejiang) National Costume Show Performance.

Among the series of activities, "a situation play" evoked deep emotional resonance, "a wave of flash mob performances" brought culture closer to the public, and "a group of special markets" fully displayed the charm of She culture. In addition, the She Ethnic Style Garden Party, showcasing a blend of scenery, culture, and cuisine, offered a comprehensive and multi-faceted display of Eshan's unique cultural tourism charm. On top of that, the iconic "three gates" of the She Township - "Unity Gate," "Harmony Gate" and "Happiness Gate" - were recreated on-site. Visitors walked through these symbolic gates to experience the interactive activities such as the Zhongmen cloth dragon, bamboo pole dance, special markets, She ethnic costumes, She ethnic ribbons, "High Mountain and Flowing Water" Outdoor Feast, and She Township achievement exhibition.
