Since 2000, the Ankang Hanjiang Dragon Boat Race has been successfully held 24 times, evolving from a traditional folk event into a cultural hallmark that drives local development. On the riverside stage, performers danced gracefully, while on the shimmering Hanjiang River, dragon boat racers powered through the waves with speed and precision.

"The river is the battleground for the racers, and the equipment is our battleground for ensuring power supply," said Yuan Jun, an employee who has been responsible for power supply during the Dragon Boat Festival for six years. Focused on the data dashboard inside the emergency power vehicle, he monitored the vehicle’s operation in real time.

To ensure the smooth operation of the event, State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power Company began preparations three days in advance, assisting the event organizers in setting up emergency power vehicles and cable connections. On the day of the event, 15 staff members were on duty at key locations throughout the day, ensuring the equipment remained on standby, ready to quickly switch between grid power and emergency power whenever needed.

During the Dragon Boat Festival, the popularity of green travel surged. To ensure safe, reliable, and efficient charging for new energy vehicles, State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power Company further accelerated the construction and commissioning of charging stations in its jurisdiction. This initiative helped create a safe and convenient environment for new energy vehicle owners to travel during the holiday.
