Henan Jiyuan Refines Measures to Ensure Reliable Power Supply for Heating

On November 3, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company dispatched staff to inspect and patrol power lines associated with heating companies and centralized heating stations, meticulously carrying out operation and maintenance work to ensure reliable power supply during the winter heating season.

As winter heating season approaches, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company has refined measures to ensure safe and reliable electricity supply for heating enterprises and residential communities, guaranteeing that residents stay warm throughout the winter.

State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company has launched special inspections of heating lines. It has established a three-dimensional inspection system integrating "drone patrols, manual special inspections, and infrared temperature measurement" to conduct thorough checks on lines connected to heating companies. The inspections focus on monitoring temperature changes in key components such as cable joints and transformer bushings. Simultaneously, the company has established health records for these heating lines and enhanced equipment monitoring and operation and maintenance management, ensuring a safe and stable power supply. The company also proactively engages with heating companies to understand their specific power consumption patterns and needs.  It assists them in inspecting heating-related equipment such as distribution cabinet wiring, relay protection devices, and heating circulation systems, and provides timely feedback and assistance regarding any issues found.

At the same time, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company has conducted special inspections of power supply facilities such as distribution rooms, metering devices, and the power lines of secondary heat exchange stations in centralized heating communities, recorded and addressed any potential safety hazards identified, and established a comprehensive power safety protection network.

In addition, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company will strengthen the operation and maintenance of power facilities across 309 administrative villages in mountainous electric-heating areas, and conduct targeted patrols, special protection, and risk prevention during strong winds, heavy snowfall, and other cold weather, ensuring reliable power supply and high-quality service to keep residents warm through the winter.
