Laotian online influencer experiences calligraphy rubbing.
At the rubbing experience area of the Han Yuan Stele Forest, exhibits featuring oracle bone inscriptions, the Hundred Family Surnames, Chinese zodiac signs, and classic Tang and Song poetry drew strong interest from visiting international creators. The diverse range of stone rubbings encouraged many to participate on the spot. Laotian influencer Wang Wei moistened a sheet of Xuan paper and pressed it onto a carved stone, tapping evenly with a rubbing pad. Within seconds, the character "羊" (which means "goat" in English), representing his zodiac sign, emerged clearly on the paper. Holding up the finished piece, he remarked, "This is my zodiac sign—how amazing!"
Kaifeng is a city where the cultural heritage of ancient and modern times has been continuously passed down and sustained, and a city where citizens and tourists alike appreciate the beauty of all four seasons and embrace the leisurely lifestyle steeped in the charm of the Song Dynasty.
