As the Winter Solstice approaches, the Wuhai Smart Energy Storage Installation Base project in Wuda District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia, is accelerating its construction schedule. Currently, the main structure of Building No. 2 has been completed, while Building No. 1 is progressing steadily. The project plans to fully complete the construction of both main structures within the year.
Construction site
Spanning 22 mu (approximately 1.47 hectares), the project will include production workshops, office areas, a cloud center, and supporting facilities. Two specialized production lines will be installed, focusing on the research, development, and manufacturing of integrated cabinet-type and containerized energy storage products. Upon completion and commissioning in June 2026, the project is expected to achieve an annual output capacity of 100 sets of 10-MWh energy storage systems, equivalent to an additional 1 GWh of clean-energy “super energy storage power banks.”
By integrating advanced technologies such as digital twins and smart production lines, the project will not only enhance corporate competitiveness but also indirectly provide more than 2,000 jobs through industrial chain collaboration. It will attract supporting enterprises to cluster in Wuhai, helping the city further improve its new energy industry ecosystem.
At present, construction is progressing rapidly in accordance with the established timeline and roadmap. Once completed and put into operation, the project will further expand Wuhai City’s new energy industry scale, promote the transformation and upgrading of its energy structure, and inject green momentum into regional economic and social development.
