The 2nd New Year’s National Fitness Run Kicks Off in Shizhu County, Chongqing

On January 1, 2026, the “Sun Moon Cup” 2026 “Fengqing Tujia Village · Exquisite Landscape City” 2nd New Year’s National Fitness Run kicked off at Times Square in Shizhu County, Chongqing. Nearly 5,000 professional athletes and running enthusiasts from across the municipality and beyond gathered to welcome the new year with energetic strides—measuring the vitality of urban development with their footsteps and embodying Shizhu’s spirit of progress through determination and perseverance.

The event aims to further implement the national fitness strategy, unite people and boost morale through sports, comprehensively showcase Shizhu County’s achievements in building a “Fengqing Tujia Village · Exquisite Landscape City,” and call on the entire county to compete vigorously and strive for excellence on the path of high-quality development.
