State Grid Cixi Power Supply Company: Community Managers Safeguard 'Aerial Strawberries' for Rural Revitalization

On the morning of March 24, the power community manager team from State Grid Cixi Power Supply Company visited the "Aerial Strawberry" intelligent planting greenhouse of Freyr Farm in Kuangyan Town, Cixi City, to conduct special electricity safety inspections and customized power services. It supported the development of smart agriculture with a safe and reliable power supply, and injected strong impetus into the integrated industry of agriculture, culture, and tourism.

As an innovation project in regional characteristic agriculture , Freyr Farm has innovatively created a three-dimensional planting model of the "Aerial Strawberry Garden". By adopting layered cultivation, the comprehensive utilization rate of land has been significantly improved. Integrating new business forms such as leisure picking and farming experience, the farm has promoted the transformation of agriculture from a "single production-oriented model" to a diversified integration model of "production + services + experience", becoming a demonstration carrier for boosting the collective economy of villages and increasing farmers' income. The farm has been fully equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) technology to build an intelligent planting system that integrates environmental monitoring, intelligent regulation and control, and precise irrigation, realizing digital management throughout the entire strawberry production process.

According to the person in charge of the farm, a full-coverage intelligent management and control system has been built in the park. Key facilities for greenhouse temperature control, integrated water and fertilizer supply, ventilation, and lifting equipment have been fully electrified, making the production system significantly more dependent on a continuous and stable power supply. The farm has also established an intelligent management and control platform that enables remote operation and real-time data collection. In the event of temperature or humidity fluctuations or abnormal nutrient levels, the system issues automatic early warnings and carries out linked adjustments, forming a closed-loop operation of "sensing – analysis – control" and setting higher standards for power supply support.

At the inspection site, power community managers from State Grid Cixi Power Supply Company conducted a comprehensive "physical examination" of the electrical facilities in the greenhouses. Focusing on key components such as distribution boxes, leakage protection devices, and circuit connections, they prioritized checking potential hazards, including line aging, overheating joints, and non-standard grounding. In response to the application scenario of intelligent equipment, the community managers also provided on-site guidance on safe electricity use and training on simple troubleshooting, further improving the customer’s ability in independent operation and maintenance."With the one-on-door service from the power community managers, we feel more secure about electricity use and more assured in production. The yield and quality of strawberries are firmly guaranteed, giving us greater confidence in increasing income!" praised the person in charge of the farm.
