On June 2, the promotion conference on China’s green medical service model for heavy ion and nuclear medicine cancer treatments was held in Dunhuang. Aligned with healthcare development in the Hexi Corridor and leveraging Dunhuang’s Silk Road cultural advantages, the conference focused on heavy ion precision radiotherapy and nuclear medicine–based targeted therapy. The event aimed to accelerate the adoption of advanced cancer treatments, extend high-quality medical resources to grassroots facilities, and address challenges for patients in Northwest China, including travel distance, limited access, and high costs. Leading medical professionals, experts, and institutional representatives shared insights through technology presentations, model explanations, and academic discussions.
