The Seventh Qingdao Multinationals Summit opened at the Qingdao International Conference Center on June 15, 2026.

Themed “Multinational Corporations and China: Advancing with the 15th Five-Year Plan Toward Innovation and the Future,” the summit comprises three main sections: the opening ceremony and main forum, meetings and talks, and parallel forums, with more than 20 events in total. It will also release the research report Multinational Corporations in China, comprehensively introducing China’s opening-up policies, market opportunities, and innovation space for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The summit aims to promote deeper integration of multinational corporations into China’s industrial, supply, and innovation chains, enabling them to share the dividends of China’s vast market, innovation-driven development, and institutional opening-up.
Building on the high-caliber guest lineup and standards of the previous six editions, this year’s summit closely follows new trends in multinational corporations’ cooperation with China during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and continues to expand its network of partners. It attracted 357 multinational corporations from 44 countries and regions, including 105 Fortune Global 500 companies and 252 industry leaders. Modern service sector firms accounted for 20 percent of participating companies, a record high.
