As the 2026 Dragon Boat Festival approaches, shopping malls, tourist attractions and night market stalls in Dianjiang, Chongqing are expected to see peak visitor traffic. To ensure a safe and stable power supply during the holiday, State Grid Chongqing Dianjiang Power Supply Company has launched power supply assurance measures in advance and conducted inspections of key merchants’ electrical equipment.

The company has organized 12 “Dian Xiao’er” service teams to conduct detailed inspections of distribution lines, pad-mounted transformers, switchgear cabinets and other equipment in densely populated areas, including manufacturing enterprises, shops and supermarkets across different grid areas. The teams have focused on identifying electrical hazards in key livelihood-related venues such as farmers’ markets, supermarkets and cold-chain warehouses.
The company has also coordinated in advance to learn about Dragon Boat Festival activities in its service area and formulated targeted power supply assurance measures. It has connected with community grid workers and visited zongzi processing workshops door to door to inspect potential electrical hazards involving high-power steamers, packaging machines and other equipment.
