State Grid Suizhou Zengdu District Power Supply Company Strengthens Dual Safeguards for Zhongkao and Dragon Boat Festival Power Supply

This year’s Zhongkao, or senior high school entrance exam, coincides with the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. According to weather forecasts, heavy rainfall may occur during the power supply protection period. Facing the combined tasks of ensuring reliable electricity for the holiday, the exam and flood prevention, State Grid Suizhou Zengdu District Power Supply Company has made early arrangements and responded quickly in recent days to ensure the safe and stable operation of the local power grid.
Ahead of the protection period, the company organized operation and maintenance personnel to carry out a comprehensive safety inspection of power lines, distribution areas and electrical facilities inside exam sites involved in Zhongkao power supply protection. The inspections focused on risks such as damp equipment, aging lines, tree hazards along power line corridors and water accumulation in low-lying areas, ensuring that all identified problems were addressed.

During the power supply protection period, the company will set up dedicated duty stations at key locations, including distribution rooms at exam sites, emergency generator vehicles and switchgear cabinets, with designated personnel on duty throughout the period. Emergency repair teams will remain on 24-hour standby to ensure immediate response and rapid handling of any unexpected faults.
In response to possible heavy rainfall, the company is actively coordinating with meteorological authorities, closely monitoring load changes, and strengthening inspections of equipment hazards in low-lying areas and key zones to ensure the safe and reliable operation of power supply equipment and lines.
At present, all special power supply protection work by State Grid Suizhou Zengdu District Power Supply Company is progressing in an orderly manner. During the protection period, the company has deployed 60 person-times of power supply protection personnel and three emergency generator vehicles. Next, the company will continue to monitor weather changes and grid operation, implement all power supply protection measures, safeguard residents’ Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and provide reliable power support for students pursuing their dreams in the Zhongkao.
