International Participants Gather on the Banks of the Yellow River as “Silk Road IP, Opportunities in China” Campaign Launches in Lanzhou

On June 22, the “Silk Road IP, Opportunities in China” International Online Communication Campaign officially launched in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Eight International Experience Ambassadors from around the world traveled to the banks of the Yellow River for the launch. Lanzhou marks the first stop on the full itinerary through the Hexi Corridor, where the group will explore the enduring charm and culture of the Silk Road.

The ceremony took place in the North Hall of the Radiotherapy Center at the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center of Gansu Wuwei Tumor Hospital. The venue was decorated with themed display boards, a photo check-in area, and a message board, where the ambassadors signed their names and stopped to take photos.

Gansu is strategically located along the golden corridor of the Silk Road and is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage, abundant natural resources, and diverse industrial achievements. During the tour, the ambassadors will visit Lanzhou, Wuwei, Jinchang, and Zhangye to experience Silk Road culture, local cuisine, intangible cultural heritage, and natural scenery. They will also visit sites showcasing the province’s development in medical innovation, modern industry, renewable energy, ecological conservation, and harmonious and beautiful villages.

The event also serves as a window for Gansu to open wider to the world, broaden its channels for international communication, and attract high-quality global resources to the province. Through the authentic perspectives of the international experience ambassadors, the campaign will tell Gansu’s stories and highlight the province’s broad potential for cooperation in culture and tourism, industry, and investment. It is expected to bring external support to Gansu’s high-quality development and further expand the province’s international exchanges and cooperation.
