On June 23, 2026, the Jinkou Electric Pumping Station, a provincial-level key drainage facility in Hubei Province, has been operating at full capacity to carry out drainage operations. State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company has coordinated power supply support to strengthen regional flood prevention and control.

As of 3:00 p.m. on June 23, the water level at the Sanzhou Station of Futou Lake reached 21.99 meters, exceeding the flood-control level by 0.49 meters. The flood prevention pressure on key water areas such as the Jinshui River and Futou Lake continues to rise. In response to the urgent flood situation, the Jinkou Electric Pumping Station quickly activated emergency dispatch instructions and started six units for 24-hour full-capacity operation, fully accelerating the drainage of floodwaters within the basin.

Behind the high-intensity operation of the pumping station, a stable and reliable power supply serves as the core support. To safeguard this critical “lifeline” for drainage, State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company and the pump station management have established a 24-hour joint power assurance mechanism. Professional teams from both sides conduct joint inspections of cable trenches and electrical facilities every two hours to monitor equipment operating conditions in real time.
At the Jinkou Electric Pumping Station—an essential flood control site—State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company’s Jiangxia District branch has stationed dedicated personnel on site for continuous duty. They carry out dynamic monitoring of main distribution lines and core power distribution equipment, ensuring uninterrupted operation with a target of zero power supply interruptions.
