The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) opened in Beijing on June 22. Under the theme of “Forging strategic pivots, building a shared future,” Hubei showcased its embodied intelligence industry in a 360-square-meter exhibition area featuring 122 exhibits from 17 enterprises, covering the full value chain, including complete robot systems, core components, supply chain collaboration, and application scenarios.
The pavilion displayed 43 robot systems, including humanoid robots, industrial robots, specialized robots, and quadruped robotic dogs, signaling that “Made in Hubei” embodied intelligence is transitioning from pilot applications to commercial-scale development. The exhibition also presented 79 core components, demonstrating supply chain innovation achievements, with technologies such as Huawike’s electronic skin and SWT Drive’s RV reducers reaching international advanced levels.
Hubei has formed an industrial cluster centered on Wuhan’s Optics Valley, extending to Xiangyang, Yichang, and Huangshi. The region hosts 132 embodied intelligence upstream and downstream enterprises, supported by 33 universities and hundreds of billions of yuan in industrial funds, building a closed-loop innovation system spanning basic research, technological breakthroughs, commercialization, and talent supply.
In the afternoon, the Hubei Embodied Intelligence Industry Cooperation and Matchmaking Conference was held. Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, noted that embodied intelligence is entering a phase of large-scale commercialization, with Hubei showing strong demonstration effects. Hu Zhonghai, Director of the Hubei Provincial Committee of CCPIT, stated that Hubei’s embodied intelligence industry ranks among the top tier nationally, and its AI industry scale reached 160.8 billion yuan in 2025, while actively inviting global investment.
Representatives from Intel, Kyland Technology, and other enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions on industrial chain collaboration. The event facilitated one-on-one matchmaking between domestic and international companies.
