International Experience Ambassadors Explore Jinchang's Mars Base 1 Camp and Experience the Allure of Aerospace in the Gobi Desert

On June 25, the "Silk Road IP, Opportunities in China" International Online Communication Campaign visited Mars Base 1 Camp in Jinchang City. International experience ambassadors gathered in the Gobi Desert to immerse themselves in space-themed activities and experience the unique appeal of the Gobi landscape blended with aerospace technology. Moments after arriving at the base, Pakistani experience ambassador Jim exclaimed, "Welcome to Mars!"

The base offers a strong interstellar atmosphere. Simulated models of Mars probes and rovers are displayed among striking red sandstone formations, alongside starry-sky tents and 3D-printed Mars habitats. The base is home to the Mars Simulated Survival Experience Center, the Mars Interstellar Exploration Experience Center, and the Mars Digital Interactive Experience Center.
At the Mars Interstellar Exploration Experience Center, experience ambassadors from different countries took turns trying aerospace training equipment. Mexican experience ambassador Huang Wenxing and Pakistani experience ambassador Jim tested a space exercise bike, modeled on exercise equipment used on space stations, which uses suspension straps to simulate weightlessness. Russian experience ambassador Roman operated the digital reaction wall and completed astronaut emergency response training.

By interacting with simulated aerospace equipment firsthand, the ambassadors immersed themselves in an imaginative journey of interstellar exploration. These engaging, hands-on experiences brought the distant dream of Mars exploration within reach, leaving each international experience ambassador with unique memories of aerospace exploration in the Gobi Desert—memories they will share with the world.
