On June 22, International Experience Ambassadors participating in the "Silk Road IP, Opportunities in China" International Online Communication Campaign visited the "Jing Rui Gan Song" Construction Equipment R&D Base of Gansu Chengxin Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., a company specializing in intelligent power equipment manufacturing that has been rooted in Gansu Province for nearly four decades. There, they gained first-hand insight into the company's innovation-driven development and closely observed the technological vitality emerging across the Hexi Corridor.

The company traces its origins to the Gansu Power Transmission and Transformation Machinery Research Institute, established in 1986. Relying on the Zhai Zongliang Model Worker Innovation Studio, it has continuously advanced technological R&D and engineering innovation. In the company's exhibition hall, the ambassadors explored a range of cutting-edge equipment, including integrated intelligent deep foundation pit machines, electric rotary double rocker-arm ground-mounted derricks, heavy-load transport drones, and line de-icing robots. They also learned about the centralized-control, visualized tension-stringing construction system, which enables a "human-machine separation" model and allows a single operator to manage multiple devices simultaneously.

Guided by staff, the ambassadors entered a temperature-controlled centralized control room, where they took turns operating joysticks to control multiple pieces of equipment working in coordinated synchronization. The efficiency gains from the company's intelligent systems were immediately evident, including a 50% reduction in labor for conductor stringing and a 60% reduction in monitoring personnel. Throughout the process, the ambassadors recorded the operations on their mobile phones. Outside, a heavy-lift low-altitude transport drone took off smoothly and landed with precision. Jim, an experience ambassador from Pakistan, immediately filmed the demonstration and enthusiastically introduced the "aerial powerhouse" to his online audience.

At the event, Yang Qifan, General Manager of the company, said the company focuses on three core business areas: the electrification and intelligent upgrading of traditional engineering equipment, integrated intelligent operation and maintenance solutions, and the development of integrated smart construction site management systems during project execution. He noted that the company's series of electric traction machines and tensioning equipment has reached internationally advanced levels. He also emphasized that these technologies are widely used not only in frontline power construction, but also in post-disaster emergency rescue operations.

Throughout the visit, the ambassadors showed strong engagement, using cameras to document scenes of technological innovation and sharing stories of Gansu's "intelligent manufacturing" with overseas netizens. Having developed along the banks of the Yellow River for nearly four decades, Gansu Chengxin Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. has followed a path from follower to industry leader. The visiting guests witnessed firsthand the depth and strength of Gansu's manufacturing capabilities, as well as the growing momentum of China's intelligent manufacturing sector.
