The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University Brings Chinese Healthcare Solutions to the World

Recently, diplomats from more than a dozen countries visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. They explored the hospital’s advanced medical technologies and diagnosis and treatment approaches. They also learned how the hospital has continued to send medical teams overseas to help enhance medical capabilities in partner countries, receive international physicians for advanced training in China, and support the development of local medical expertise and management capacity.

At an international medical symposium, envoys from several countries agreed to strengthen cooperation in areas such as technology transfer, exchanges among healthcare professionals, two-way referrals, and joint research.

Medical cooperation between China and other countries is evolving from one-off transfers of technology toward long-term collaboration built on the mutual recognition of standards and the joint development of healthcare systems. With seven decades of dedication to medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University is strengthening people-to-people ties through medical cooperation and sharing its expertise and approaches with the global healthcare community.
