2026 Online Literacy Season Launched in Inner Mongolia to Promote Positive Energy and Cyber Civilization

Recently, the 2026 Online Literacy Season themed “Gather Positive Energy in Northern Frontier, Jointly Build a Civilized Inner Mongolia,” hosted by the Cyberspace Administration Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, was launched in Hohhot. Featuring diverse activities including the release of authoritative reports, sharing of typical cases, artistic performances and intelligent interactive experiences, the event has created a platform for exchanges and mutual learning on cyber civilization centered on “digital empowerment for shared benefits.”

At the event, the Internet Development Report of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was released. Afterwards, a representative from the Cyberspace Administration Office of the Ordos Municipal Party Committee shared experience in developing an experimental base for smart social governance and demonstrated innovative approaches to tackling grassroots governance challenges through digital tools.

During the session featuring case sharing on integrated digital and green development, three local leading enterprises — Yili Group, Baotou Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Baotou Iron and Steel Group — took the stage one after another to present their projects.

Meanwhile, the Top 10 Cases of Excellence in Cyber Civilization Development in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (2025) were unveiled at the event, offering practical approaches that can be replicated and promoted for regions across Inner Mongolia to further advance cyber civilization development.

At the event, Wang Chen, a staff member of the Media Center of the Communist Youth League Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee, shared experience in cultural exchange activities. Liang Jiali, head of Douyin account operations at Benteng Convergence Media, shared insights into successful account operations.

At the event, Agudamu, Inner Mongolia Cultural and Tourism Ambassador, served as a public welfare guest speaker. He shared My Journey with Grassland Music and Public Welfare and performed songs live, making online public welfare more visible, tangible and inspiring.

Subsequently, relevant organizations presented outstanding examples of positive energy online communication, including the 2025 Positive Energy Excellent Online Works of Inner Mongolia and the 2025 China Positive Energy Online Outstanding Works.

On the new journey, Inner Mongolia will take this Online Literacy Season as a new starting point, making the main theme of “Gather Positive Energy in Northern Frontier, Jointly Build a Civilized Inner Mongolia” resonate more widely and reach further.
