State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center Earns Five-Star Rating in Warehouses Classification, Boosting Smart Marketing Services

On August 19, State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center was successfully awarded a five-star rating under the Warehouse Classification system of China Association of Warehousing and Distribution (CAWD). Through document review, on-site evaluation and comprehensive assessment, the review panel unanimously concluded that the center's Metering Center Warehouse features a sound management system, standardized on-site management, and effective use of automated equipment, placing its metering warehouse management capabilities reaching an industry-leading level.

The general warehouse grade evaluation is conducted in accordance with the national standard Grades for General Warehouse (GB/T 21072-2021), and conducts comprehensive assessment across dimensions such as facilities and equipment, operation and management, digitalization level, and staff quality, with five stars being the highest grade. This certification is a high recognition of State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center's warehouse infrastructure, intelligent dispatching capability, and full-process management and control level.

As a key provincial institution supporting metering technology and electricity marketing, State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center undertakes key responsibilities including provincial metering quality system supervision, full-lifecycle management of metering assets, pre-commissioning management of important gateway metering devices, and on-site periodic verification, serving as the hub for centralized verification and unified distribution of electric energy metering instruments in Zhejiang Province. The certified Metering Center Warehouse covers a total area of 10,998 square meters, of which the automated stereoscopic warehouse accounts for 9,348 square meters. The warehouse deeply integrates advanced equipment such as automated pallet trucks, intelligent conveyor lines, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), and has built an automated operation and intelligent dispatching system covering the entire process of metering instrument warehousing, storage, outbound, and distribution. With a storage capacity of 380,000 electricity meters, it can efficiently meet the annual demand of over 6 million electricity meters and other metering instruments across the province. This automated warehouse system has significantly improved operational efficiency and accuracy, becoming a prominent highlight in this evaluation and laying a solid foundation for State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center to carry out lean management of the full life cycle of metering assets.

During the evaluation, the expert panel conducted a comprehensive review of warehouse infrastructure, warehouse aisles, loading and unloading operation conditions, information system application, safety management and control, on-site management, and personnel training through briefings, reviews of application materials, and on-site verifications. It fully affirmed the solid work of State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center in warehouse management system construction, standardized on-site management, and in-depth application of automated equipment, and unanimously agreed that all indicators met the five-star standard requirements.

Going forward, State Grid Zhejiang Marketing Service Center will take this certification as an opportunity to continuously improve the metering asset warehouse management system, deepen the integrated application of automation and digital technologies, and steadily enhance the integrated and collaborative support capability of "warehousing, verification, and distribution" of metering instruments, so as to provide more solid and reliable logistics support for fair transactions in electric power metering and high-quality development of marketing services across the province.
