This year's Expo, themed "Token – A New Path for Unlocking the Value of Data Elements," features five major categories of activities: the opening ceremony, professional exhibitions, industry exchanges, exhibition-industry integration, and brand competitions. Emphasizing industrialization, professionalism, and internationalization, the Expo has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of organization, aiming to build a platform for showcasing cutting-edge achievements, facilitating industry thought exchange, and connecting supply with demand, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the digital economy.

The year 2026 marks the 12th China International Big Data Industry Expo and coincides with the 10th anniversary of Guizhou's approval as a National Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Zone. Over the past decade, Guizhou Province has persistently promoted the coordinated development of computing power, data, applications, and industries, vigorously fostering digital-intelligent industry clusters. Efforts include continuously expanding computing power capacity, advancing "computing-electricity synergy" with direct green power connections, and building a national-level computing power guarantee base; developing and expanding the data annotation industry, and unlocking the value of data elements through authorized operation of public data; promoting the implementation of industry-specific large models in sectors such as sauce-flavored liquor, mining, and cultural tourism; and strengthening the electronic information industry, with the goal of achieving a provincial digital-intelligent industry scale of RMB 500 billion by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

This year's Expo focuses on five thematic pillars: computing power infrastructure, data supply, model-driven applications, security safeguarding, and intelligent experiences. It brings together over 300 participating enterprises, complemented by special exhibition zones including the Guest Province of Honor zone, the Culture-Sports-Tourism-Commerce Digital-Intelligence Integration zone, and the International Data Exchange zone. In line with the goal of "convening conferences to boost industry and hosting exhibitions to promote production," the Expo provides comprehensive services to enterprises, empowers industries, and facilitates project incubation.

Additionally, the Expo integrates exhibition services with urban amenities, deeply connecting with Guizhou's two major cultural and sports IPs—the "Village Super League" and "Village BA"—to create an integrated consumption ecosystem combining "Expo + culture & tourism." This ensures that attendees can experience smart technology at the venue while also exploring Guizhou's landscapes, cultural heritage, and vibrant local life beyond the exhibition halls.
