2025 Wuhai Solid-State Battery Industry Development Conference Held

From October 27 to 28, the 2025 Wuhai Solid-State Battery Industry Development Conference took place. By establishing a multi-party exchange platform involving the government, think tanks, and enterprises, over a hundred experts, scholars, and business representatives from related fields across China gathered in Wuhai City to jointly offer suggestions and strategies for the high-quality development of the solid-state battery industry.

With the theme of "Strengthening Fundamentals, Fostering Innovation, and Powering the Future with Electricity," the conference was hosted by Qingtao (Kunshan) Energy Development Group Co., Ltd. and supported by the Wuhai Municipal People's Government. Through field visits, keynote speeches, signing ceremonies, and thematic lectures, it fully demonstrated the foundation and advantages of Wuhai's solid-state battery industry. It also focused on in-depth discussions regarding the current supply and demand situation, industry trends, and downstream application expansion of solid-state batteries. Experts, scholars, and business representatives, including Zhao Chenxu, Dean of the Mengdian Energy Research Institute of Inner Mongolia Power Group; He Hongcai, General Manager of Qingtao (Wuhai) Energy Technology Co., Ltd.; and Yuan Haocheng, a doctoral researcher at Academician Nan Cewen's Workstation, delivered keynote speeches on topics such as "Development and Challenges of the Energy Storage Market in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region," "Progress and Trends in the Industrialization of Solid-State Batteries," and "Research Directions and Planning of the Academician Workstation." During the conference, the Wuhai Solid-State Battery Energy Storage Innovation and Application Alliance was officially initiated.
