Hubei Xianning Yitang Hot Spring Yangxin Valley Completes Power Capacity Expansion and Upgrade

On December 26, Liu Su, leader of the State Grid Hubei Electric Power (Xianning High-tech) Service Team, led a team of seven to Hot Spring Yangxin Valley, a key cultural tourism and wellness project in Xianning City, Hubei Province, to conduct an on-site inspection of the newly commissioned high-voltage capacity expansion project.

The Hot Spring Yangxin Valley project is located in the core area of the Xianning hot spring geothermal field. Leveraging high-quality hot spring resources, it integrates hot spring wellness, leisure tourism, and public service functions. The project involves a wide range of electrical equipment, a concentrated load, and high electricity demand.

To meet the project's electricity demand, the service team constructed a new ground-level power distribution room and installed four 1,250 kVA box transformers, increasing the power supply capacity from 1,260 kVA to 5,000 kVA, fully ensuring highly reliable electricity supply during the project's operation. The commissioning of this project will further strengthen regional power security, assist Xianning in becoming the "City of Fragrance and Capital of Hot Springs · Wellness Destination," and promote the upgrading of the local tourism economy.
