At the expo, an AI robot chatted fluently in Hindi with South Asian businesspeople; in a live-streaming room, a Vietnamese host introduced Vietnam's traditional dress, the "Ao Dai", while interacting enthusiastically with netizens; at the first-ever Service Trade Pavilion, new business formats such as "AI+", digital cultural creativity, and cross-border finance made a collective appearance, attracting global buyers to stop and negotiate. From "blueprint" to "reality", Yunnan is embracing the world with a more open attitude, writing a new chapter in high-level opening-up.

After attending the opening ceremony of the South Asia Expo in the morning, Marcial Guvati remarked that although he has followed the South Asia Expo for many years, being present at the scene was a completely different experience. In his view, "In just over a decade, the expo has flourished and become an important platform for South Asian countries to connect and cooperate with China." Facing shifts in global trade landscape, he called on all parties to strengthen infrastructure connectivity and open up diversified cooperation channels for commercial exchanges among countries.

At Hall 1, the Service Trade Pavilion, a Vietnamese influencer was deeply attracted by the smart tea-brewing robot named "Cha Ye Dan". The robot can not only precisely control water temperature and brewing time but also select the best brewing method for different types of tea. The Vietnamese influencer noted that the South Asia Expo is not just a platform for commodity trading, it also serves as a bridge for technological exchange and the exchange of ideas, offering opportunities for Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries to learn and cooperate. Vietnam also has a long history of tea culture. She expressed hope that such smart technology could be introduced to Vietnam in the future, allowing more people to experience the fusion of technology and tradition. She also looks forward to the South Asia Expo continuing to play its role as a link, promoting in-depth cooperation between China and Vietnam in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and technology.
In the following itinerary, the influencers and bloggers will also take part in the first South and Southeast Asia Online Contence Creators Conference, and visit Kunming Dounan Flower Market, Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, Xizhou Ancient Town, Dali Ancient City, and other locations. They will gain first-hand insight into how Yunnan's flower industry has opened up to the world, as well as Yunnan's explorations and practices in the integrated development of ecological protection and green tourism around the Erhai Lake basin, and the protection and revitalization of traditional villages alongside the preservation, inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage. From multiple perspectives, they will showcase to the world a vivid picture of Chinese modernization in Yunnan, where tradition and modernity blend, ecology and development advance together, and openness and inclusiveness coexist harmoniously.
