According to the notice of Luoyang for pandemic prevention and control and work arrangements, Baima Temple reopens to the public on June 8, 2022. Visitors are required to follow the anti-pandemic protocols and arrange their visit properly.

1. Baima Temple implements strict pandemic prevention and control measures. Based on the requirements of limited and staggered visits and ticket booking, visitors need to make appointments online in advance, and are required to wear masks to visit the temple after registering with their valid ID, having their temperature taken, getting disinfected, scanning the QR code of the code and displaying the travel history. Visitors also need to mind the one-meter safety distance while waiting in line. Those who don’t meet the above requirements will not be allowed to enter.

2. Visitors to Baima Temple need to display their PCR test results. Visitors from outside Luoyang and those who have traveled or resided outside Luoyang in the past 14 days can only visit the temple with a negative PCR test result within 24 hours. Those from areas with medium and high risks of infection will not be accepted for now.

3. The number of visitors to Baima Temple will be limited. To strictly control the number of visitors, Baima Temple allows a maximum of 75 percent of the outdoor capacity and 50 percent of the indoor capacity, and will not allow crowding and gathering on site.

4. Please mind your manners. Please do not spit or remove your mask during your visit. Do not cough or sneeze towards others. Cover your mouth and nose when sneeze or cough, then put on a new mask, and throw the old mask in the special dust bin.

5. Some areas are closed temporarily. The main hall along the central axis is under repair and closed temporarily, while the rest four major halls do not allow visitors to enter for now; the Art Museum, Classics Pavilion, Talisman Pavilion, Indian Hall, Zhiyu Tea House, dining hall, etc are closed for now.

6. All large-scale religious activities are suspended. Baima Temple suspends large religious activities and does not offer meals to visitors for now.

Baima Temple will continue to strengthen and implement various pandemic prevention and control measures, to ensure a safe and orderly reopening. Hope you enjoy your visit here and we expect you to cooperate with us on pandemic prevention and control, and visit in a good manner. Thank you for your support and cooperation!
