The 11th China Quyi Festival Opens in Leshan, Sichuan

The 11th China Quyi Festival kicked off at the Olympic Center in Leshan, Sichuan Province on the evening of September 25th.

The opening ceremony featured three chapters: "Happy Life," "Enterprising Era," and "Colorful Quyi." The performances were well-received, and the audience applauded continuously.

The festival, which will last for four days, will hold nine performances with rich content and diverse forms. More than 500 Quyi artists and practitioners from all over the country will perform nearly a hundred exciting programs. Over 50 traditional Quyi genres such as crosstalk, Beijing bass drum, and Suzhou Pingtan will also be showcased, presenting the different styles of Quyi.

The China Quyi Festival is the highest-level and largest-scale Quyi event in the industry, and its unique artistic charm has made a positive contribution to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese excellent traditional culture, the promotion of the prosperous development of socialist literary and artistic undertakings, and the enrichment of people's spiritual and cultural life.
