Free tickets offered to Luoyang residents in Mingtang and scenic paradise

The month of December has seen Luoyang city residents enjoy free admissions to the Paradise Mingtang scenic spot. All they needed to access the area for free was to bring their ID cards.

This scenic area includes the palace of Empress Wu Zetian of Tang dynasty "Mingtang" and the royal pagoda "scenic paradise". There are also 9 daily regular cultural performances about the Tang dynasty during the month of December and a Tang culture style feast for all visitors.

The city's Paradise Mingtang represents the core elements of Sui and Tang Dynasties of Luoyang City National Park. The park is also one of the national heritage parks in China. Located in the central part of the capital city during the Sui and Tang dynasties, the national park was once the political, economic and cultural center for the whole of china, and thrived for about 500 years.
