Luoning County Hosts First Heluo Peony Culture Festival

On April 27, the Housheng - First Heluo Peony Culture Festival was opened in the Heluo peony garden complex in Zhaocun Township of Luoning County.

During the activity, in addition to peony sightseeing, tourists can also enjoy songs with unique landscape and pastoral charm, guzheng performance and Heluo drum dance, an intangible cultural heritage of Heluo.

In recent years, Luoning County has invested much effort to build a tourism brand of "landscape and idyllic · beautiful Luoning". Among them, with Tuqiao village as the core, Zhaocun Township has built a 3,000-mu peony sightseeing park, which receives about 100,000 tourists annually, supporting more than 400 households to increase their income and become rich.

Also efforts are being exerted to develop a health ecological tour of peony flowers, build Zhaocun into a well-known peony garden in western Henan Province, and develop original ecological cave-dwelling hotels and peony mountain delicacies based on the peony industry. Plans are also formulated to form a peony-themed industrial park integrating multiple economic models with food, accommodation, tourism and others, build a peony healthcare and nursing townlet and promote rural revitalization.
