On May 22, the opening ceremony of 2021 Henan Science and Technology Week was held in Luoyang. As an annual mass event, Science and Technology Week is a significant platform for science popularization.

During the Science and Technology Week this year, a series of mass science popularization activities will be held, such as the exhibition on the development of science and technology of Henan province for the centenary of the founding of the CPC, the promotion of military-civilian science and technology innovation achievements, the provincial science popularization contest, the volunteer service activities for hundreds of chief experts popularizing science to counties, the scientific and technological practices for teenagers, AR Party-building themed interactive exhibition, science and technology in poverty alleviation, science and technology going to the countryside, science popularization into the community and the campus, science popularization caravans, etc.　　

During the Science and Technology week, a series of municipal-level activities for science popularization will also be celebrated in Luoyang.
