International Creative Week of Yellow River Basin Intangible Cultural Heritage to Be Launched
From Sept. 30, 2021 to Oct. 7, 2021, International Creative Week of Yellow River Basin Intangible Cultural Heritage will be held in Chanhezhuying of Luoyang, a park famous for amazing oriental cherries.
The Yellow River culture is an integral part of the Chinese civilization and the symbol of the Chinese nation. As the main roots of the Chinese civilization, the Yellow River culture has contributed to the cultural identity of the Chinese nation. It boasts a variety of cultural resources and historical relics, hence a unique gem of history and culture for the Chinese people.
Themed on "Beautiful Intangible Cultural Heritage, Creative Life", International Creative Week of Yellow River Basin Intangible Cultural Heritage is set to become a "More International, More Fashionable, More Open, More Creative" event. It consists of two sections, namely Yellow River Intangible Cultural Heritage Creative Exhibition and Strategic Dialogue on Yellow River Culture, highlighting the inheritance and innovative development of the Yellow River culture. Featured intangible cultural heritages from around China will showcase the beauty of the Yellow River culture, and renowned domestic experts and scholars will explore the artistic charm of the culture.
The event presents both exemplary creative projects of Chinese intangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage projects of Yellow River Basin. Innovative design and intangible cultural heritage projects of Yellow River Basin will inspire design innovation in the traditional craftsmanship, promote the upgrade of traditional industries, show the world the splendor of the Yellow River culture, and boost the development of the Yellow River intangible cultural heritage in the new era.
A total of 4 exhibition areas cover about 5,000 square meters, present more than 30 creative projects of intangible cultural heritage, and offer hundreds of exhibitions, performances and consumption experiences of traditional intangible cultural heritage. By explore the charm of the intangible cultural heritage of the Yellow River Basin in a more diverse and younger fashion, the event aims to highlight its creative transformation and innovative development, help traditional culture integrate with international fashion, promote traditional culture worldwide, and create a bright future for its development. The ancient Yellow River will show new vitality in continuous development, and its charm will never fade away.
