Two Places in Luoyang Listed in Henan Provincial-Level Tourism Leisure Blocks
Recently, Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province and Henan Provincial Commission of Development and Reform have announced the 2021 list of Henan Provincial-Level Tourism Leisure Blocks. Two places in Luoyang have been selected, namely the Historical and Cultural Block of Luoyang Ancient City, and Guangzhou Market Pedestrian Street.
Historical and Cultural Block of Luoyang Ancient City
Historical and Cultural Block of Luoyang Ancient City extends to Zhongzhou East Road in the north, Mashi Street-Lyushi Street in the south, Xinjie Street in the east, and Jinye Road in the west.
In recent years, the block has developed four functional zones covering tourism services, traditional business, cultural & creative industries, and residence. There are traditional food, medicine and handicrafts represented by water banquet, Bufan soup, peony cake, crispy flaky pastry, paper cutting, calligraphy and painting, and new business patterns such as cultural & creative products experience stores, Hanfu studios (historic costumes of the Han ethnic majority), bars, cafés, and internet-famous scenic attractions.
The phase Ⅰ of the Ancient City Project (Luoyi Ancient City Intangible Cultural Heritage Industrial Park) highlights the architectural styles of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China, showcases the charm of the intangible cultural heritage, to comprehensively build itself into a historical and cultural ancient city integrating culture, tourism, commerce, leisure and vacationing.

The park also further explores new forms of presentation, integrating traditional culture with emerging technologies such as 3D projection mapping light shows, holographic projection and directional sound sensor, to vitalize cultural relics in the ancient city and build new highlights at every step.
Guangzhou Market Pedestrian Street in Luoyang City
Guangzhou Market Pedestrian Street, located in Jinghua Road, Jianxi District, Luoyang, adopts the architectural styles of "Guangzhou Streets and the Republic of China", combining Chinese and European styles, classical and modern features, to build the mixed image of antiquity and fashion, elegance and modernity.

The block as a whole has, according to the style of "laneways" in the Republic of China, offered entertainment and leisure experiences in six major zones, namely Exquisite Restaurants, National-Style Cultural and Creative Parks, Jianxi Bar Street, Yejian Market, Sports Block, and Immersive Theater.

The block has also launched normalized consumption locations at the special zone of leisure, culture and sports, providing featured sports-themed experiences. Immersive Theater offers panoramic immersive experiences throughout the block in the forms of media interaction, AR theater interactive experience and live streaming of Internet celebrities. Visitors can enjoy every sweet moment with their eyes, ears and hands.
