Peony Culture Festival of Luoyang China to Kick Off
The 2023 Peony Culture Festival of Luoyang China (hereinafter referred to as the "2023 Peony Culture Festival") is organized by the People's Government of Henan Province and hosted by the Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province and the People's Government of Luoyang City. The festival this year, under the theme of "Flowers Blooming in Vibrant Luoyang", will be held from April 8 to 23. The flower viewing season will last from April 1 to May 5. During the 2023 Peony Culture Festival, 10 major activities will be hosted.
The 10 major activities include a launching ceremony of the flower viewing season of the 40th Peony Culture Festival of Luoyang China, a carnival of the peony parade floats, a metaverse-powered "Fantasy Night in a City of Peony", an immersive flower viewing activity themed "Blooming Flowers in Vibrant Luoyang over 40 Years", the Third World Research Travel Conference, the activity titled "Revisiting Ancient China at Sui-Tang Luoyang City National Archaeological Site Park", city-wide live action role playing games, and the Amazing Nights at Museums. At 20:00 on April 1, the launching ceremony of the 40th Peony Culture Festival of Luoyang China will take place at the North Square of Yingtianmen in Luoyang.
