The Sui-Tang Dynasties Grand Canal Cultural Museum will launch the "Boarding a Towered Ship in Hanfu" activity on May 18. Visitors who successfully reserve their tickets through the online booking system and arrive at the museum dressed in Hanfu can get a boarding card at the service desk by presenting their ID cards. With the boarding card, they can board the ship and capture memorable photos.
This activity marks the museum's inaugural launch of the towered ship boarding activity, and it is an exquisite fusion of the ancient towered ship and the elegant Hanfu-clad individuals. Together, they create a picturesque spectacle that adds to the enchanting ambiance of "International Museum Day."
Luoyang Museum
On the International Museum Day, visitors wearing Hanfu can enjoy a half-price discount at a special exhibition at the Luoyang Museum, reducing the ticket price to RMB30 per person. In addition, Hanfu-clad visitors can watch the digital movie "Goddess of the River Luo" for free at the digital hall of Luoyang Museum on May 18.
Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital
On May 18, at the Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital, visitors donning Hanfu can enjoy free guide service (minimum of 20 people per group) and receive a free "Xiaoxia sticker" at the service desk.
Luoyang Folk Museum
The Luoyang Folk Museum will specially arrange scheduled free guided tours for Hanfu-clad visitors on May 18.
Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum
Visitors to the Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum in Hanfu can get a sticker of the mural painting of Ming Dynasty tombs "Group Portrait of Ladies Playing Music" at the visitor center on May 18. The museum also arranged a photo spot of the "Group Portrait of Ladies Playing Music" in a human figure standing sign for people to capture memorable moments.
Guanlin Temple (General Guan’s Tomb)
Visitors wearing Hanfu can tour the Guanlin Temple for free on May 18. At the same time, the Guanlin Temple will introduce an immersive performance titled "General Guan Parade to Descend the Blessing", in which visitors can participate for free.
Museum of Luoyang Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Pits
On May 18, visitors dressed in Hanfu can avail of a 50% discount for admission to the Museum of Luoyang Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Pits. After the discount, the single ticket price is RMB15.
Luoyang Zhougong Temple Museum & Epitaph Museum-Qiantang Zhizhai Museum
On May 18, visitors wearing Hanfu can receive a gift (limited quantity, while supplies last) at the Zhougong Temple Museum and the Qiantang Zhizhai Museum in Luoyang.
