Four Luoyang Institutions Named Pilots for Cultural and Creative Product Development Initiative

On June 16, the Luoyang Cultural Heritage Bureau announced that four local institutions have been selected as part of the first group of 14 cultural heritage sites in Henan Province to spearhead an exciting new initiative. Launched by the Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province and Henan Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, this initiative aims to develop innovative cultural and creative products.

The four selected institutions from Luoyang are the Longmen Grottoes Research Academy, Luoyang Museum, Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital, and Sui-Tang Dynasties Grand Canal Cultural Museum. Among the cultural products showcased by the Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province, highlights include Luoyang Museum's wildly popular "Zhuyan Mirror" and immersive "Mystery Guest: Luo Xiaowen Night Tour" guided experience, the "Museum Wonder Tour" hosted by multiple local museums, and the Longmen Grottoes Research Institute's "Longmen Book of Secrets." These creative products have captured significant attention and interest.
