Luoyang Welcomes Guests from African Union Countries for Chinese Art Showcase

Recently, the joint press conference on the Chinese Cultural Tour for guests from 15 African Union countries and the "Eastern Charm: Authentic Scrolls, Book Set, and Digital Art Gallery" was held in Luoyang, with the launch of its hundred-city national tour exhibition starting from the city.

The book set Eastern Charm released this time is academically supported by China National Academy of Painting. Taking almost four years to finish, it collects 480 original masterpieces of "poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal engraving" from 362 famous artists, tells 120 classical Chinese stories, and was published online in the forms of authentic calligraphy and painting albums, book sets, and a digital version accessible via mobile devices.

During the activity, many foreign guests commented that they found the artistry and rich cultural heritage on display inspiring. They also expressed their hope for more Chinese people to embark on a journey to Africa, not only to enjoy the different humanities and natural scenery, but also to help facilitate a deeper mutual understanding between the two regions, thereby strengthening the bonds of friendship between China and Africa.
