Luoyang Historical Artifacts Displayed in Suzhou with Epic Meet of Fu Chai's Two Swords
Recently, the "Luoyang And Suzhou In The Eastern Zhou Dynasty" Special Exhibition kicked off at the Suzhou Museum. As the second exhibition of the "Ancient Chinese Civilization Series", it will last until October 17.
Based on the archaeological discoveries and research results of Luoyang and Suzhou over the years, nearly 260 pieces (sets) of cultural relics were selected. Through the four thematic units of "Searching for Cities in the Ruins," "Inquiring about Rites in the Zhou Dynasty," "Raising Armies to Conquer," and "Returning All to One", the exhibition sorts out the intermingled and symbiotic development lineage between the Central Plains and the Wu area from aspects of city archaeology, rites and music, military, and convergence, reappearing the historical process of the evolution of the pluralistic and integrated pattern of China.
"Sword" as prelude, the Special Exhibition narrates the history around the two swords of Fu Chai, Emperor of Wu, respectively preserved by the Luoyang Museum and the Suzhou Museum, realizing an epic reunion of them.
