Luoyang: Stunning Appearance at 2024 International Forum on Culture and Tourism Development of Silk Road Cities

On September 20, the 2024 International Forum on Culture and Tourism Development of Silk Road Cities was held in Kunming. As a founding member city of the Silk Road Cities Alliance, representatives from Luoyang Cultural Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau attended the forum in the Spring City (Kunming) and took the stage as the first one in a live broadcast on China Central Television (CCTV). Representing the eastern starting city of the Silk Road, Luoyang showcased the cultural charm of a millennium ancient capital to the global audience.

In recent years, Luoyang has been gaining popularity as a tourist destination, with a booming cultural tourism market and increasing recognition and reputation of its city brand. So, how to experience the best of Luoyang? During the live broadcast, representatives from Luoyang Cultural Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau introduced a 5-day travel itinerary, inviting tourists from around the world to visit the city.

It is reported that the International Tourism Alliance of Silk Road Cities was jointly initiated by the Network of International Culturalink Entities under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, alongside renowned tourist cities at home and abroad. Guided by the spirit of the Silk Road and adhering to the principle of consultation and collaboration for mutual benefits, the Alliance aims to foster a long-term collaboration mechanism in tourism sector among cities along the Silk Road and beyond. As of now, the Alliance includes 76 member cities from 31 countries.
