The 33rd World Hakka Conference will kick off on the evening of October 24 at the North Square of Yingtianmen in Luoyang City. Preparations for the opening ceremony are currently in full swing. Dazzling lights and well-rehearsed performances will showcase a deep sense of sincerity and care. Luoyang, poised to redefine Eastern aesthetics once more, will present a feast for the senses. The event will feature a diverse range of performances, including Heluo drum, Shaolin Kung Fu, and Han opera. It will also incorporate abundant Heluo elements such as the Hetu and Luoshu, old Luoyang of Han and Wei Dynasties, the Yellow River, the Luo River, and the Erlitou dragon-shaped artifact. The Silk Road, the Grand Canal of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the meeting of Li Bai and Du Fu, the dialogue between Confucius and Laozi, the Longmen Grottoes, and the Goddess of the River Luo will be brought back to life on stage.
