Impressive! Luanchuan Selected as a World-Class Case!

Recently, the "2024 WTA - Xianghu Dialogue" opened in Sanya, Hainan. During the ceremony, the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), jointly with the International Poverty Reduction Center in China, released the 2024 WTA Best Practices of Rural Revitalization Through Tourism. Among the selected cases, the case of Valley Tourism at Yiyuan Health Valley, Taowan Town, Luanchuan County, which promoted rural revitalization, recommended by the Luoyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, was successfully included.

The Yiyuan Health Valley, a key area for rural tourism development in Luanchuan County, features an open-air, ticket-free tourism resort in the deep mountains with themes of health and wellness, outdoor sports, and recreational activities. With more than 2 billion yuan cumulative investments from both the government and society, the infrastructure and the tourism industry have been continuously improved and developed. It features over 1,000 mu (about 66.67 hectares) of peach blossom viewing gardens and over 400 mu (about 26.67 hectares) of six speciality industrial parks including sunflower fields. The region also boasts more than 20 tourist facilities such as mountain bike lanes, hiking trails, football fields, and rafting sites. Comprehensive amenities such as 4A-level tourist signboards, parking lots, public toilets, and tourist centers are all fully developed.
