Tracing Luoshen Fu Wins Gold Medal at 2024 OLYMP'ARTS China Design Award
On the evening of December 4, 2024, local time, the Gustave Eiffel Hall of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, hosted a global celebration of art and culture — the 2024 OLYMP'ARTS Annual Award Ceremony.
A highlight of the event was the digital immersive performance Tracing Luoshen Fu, showcased at Luoyang Dahehui, which secured the prestigious Gold Medal in the China Design Awards (Interaction Design) at this year's OLYMP'ARTS.
The digital immersive performance Tracing Luoshen Fu takes "the charm of Luoyang" as its spiritual symbol and the Heluo Culture as its creative blueprint. It comprehensively utilizes creative techniques such as AR, VR, naked-eye 3D, artistic spatial landscaping, waterscape effects, and multi-sensory design to create the first performance form in China that integrates exhibitions, performances, and shows. This innovative approach offers audiences an immersive journey through the city's rich historical tapestry, crafting a travel experience that is distinctly Luoyang.
The digital immersive performance Tracing Luoshen Fu premiered at Luoyang Dahehui in May 2023, successfully combining traditional Chinese cultural elements with modern technology to create a stunning artistic experience. It not only showcases China's rich cultural heritage but also conveys the unique charm of Eastern aesthetics to audiences worldwide through innovative expressional forms.
