Luoyang's New Year Concerts for 2025 Concluded

On December 30 and 31, 2024, the "Night of Agricultural Bank of China" 2025 Yuehui Jinsui - Symphonic Harvest Year Concert and the "Night of Agricultural Bank of China" 2025 Luoyang New Year's Concert were staged spectacularly at Luoyang Zhengda Cultural Exchange Center. Both concerts were themed "Savoring the New Year in Luoyang in the glorious Tang Dynasty, Paying Tribute to the Most Beautiful Strivers", bringing heart-stirring musical feasts for numerous music lovers.

The two concerts were painstakingly created by Luoyang Symphony Orchestra (Luoyang Philharmonic Orchestra). Ji Lina, the president of Luoyang Musicians Association, served as the artistic director, and Lu Luying, a renowned conductor, was specially invited to boost the lineup. Many classic adapted pieces were performed successively, including "The Sun Shines on the Earth" which integrates an original soundtrack of a film with the classical symphony, "Xun, Hello", "Galloping War-Horses", and "Lovesickness" performed by combining string music with folk music, as well as "A Dream of Jianghu" and "Impressions of Water Margin" adapted from classical tracks of martial arts masterpieces. Through wonderful adaptions, these classical melodies were presented to the audiences in a novel manner at the turn of the new year.

Moving on, Luoyang will also roll out a series of cultural and artistic activities such as opera, song, and dance performances around the theme of "Savoring the New Year in Luoyang in the Glorious Tang Dynasty, Paying Tribute to the Most Beautiful Strivers", to further enliven the cultural and tourism consumption market and creating a joyous and harmonious festive atmosphere.
