'Craftsmanship in Every Cut, Bringing Life to Paper Art': 2024 Luoyang Paper-Cutting Contest and Third Luoyang Paper-Cutting Art Exhibition Launched

Recently, the "Craftsmanship in Every Cut, Bringing Life to Paper Art" 2024 Luoyang Paper-Cutting Contest and the Third Luoyang Paper-Cutting Art Exhibition Tour opened. Hosted by the Luoyang Federation of Trade Unions, the event will run until October 10, 2025.

The aim of the "Craftsmanship in Every Cut, Bringing Life to Paper Art" 2024 Luoyang Paper-Cutting Contest and the Third Luoyang Paper-Cutting Art Exhibition Tour is to discover young talent in intangible cultural heritage creativity, unveil a series of paper-cutting creative cultural designs, cultivate a batch of advanced creative achievements, create a range of popular paper-cutting trends, and establish a platform for intangible cultural heritage exchanges where Luoyang's rich intangible cultural heritage can be further explored. Through the paper-cutting art, this event tells the stories of the "new chapter of Luoyang" and refines the essence of Luoyang's intangible cultural heritage, to inherit the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.

The exhibition also features a special paper-cutting exhibition on "Craftsmanship of A Great Nation."
